Kumo no Henshu Ryu

Something I did in my own time, just out of creativity. The Kumo no Henshu Ryu lit. "Dragon in the Clouds" is created using a series of red, oranges and yellows. I started with these giant clouds and then repetitively used a smudge tool to create the form this serpentine-like shape followed by the it spikes or quills on back. After sometime, I added an extra layer of the same colors to define the shape of the dragon, just to create this mythical feel amongst the clouds it was emerging from. Finally what was added is a set of sparkles on top of the stags the head, this to introduce more the mythical qualities.

The skull is slightly based off on the Velociraptor, not the Jurassic Park creature. I really liked how most Dragons seem to fit perfectly with the skulls of raptors.
